A 60-year-old woman suffered a cardiac arrest while undergoing dialysis at a centre in Casoria and was revived by an emergency medical team, according to a report in Il Mattino.
The emergency was reported in the morning, at around 11:00. An ambulance from the Casoria 118 station and a medical car from Arzano responded to the dialysis centre.
According to the account, attributed by Il Mattino to the social page of "Nessuno Tocchi Ippocrate", the medical team began cardiopulmonary resuscitation immediately.
After several minutes of resuscitation manoeuvres, the woman reportedly regained spontaneous breathing and cardiac activity. Once stabilised at the scene, she was transported in red-code condition to the hospital in Frattamaggiore.
The name of the dialysis centre was not published. Her later clinical outcome has not been reported, and her condition was described as reserved.
