After twelve years of absence, the Festa de l'Unita has returned to Pomigliano d'Arco.

The event was inaugurated by Gaetano Manfredi in a public park, according to Il Mattino. The return was presented as a revival of the local Partito Democratico organisation in a city long defined by factory work.

Manfredi used the opening to argue for a broad political alliance centred on the PD and the Five Star Movement.

The focus on work reflects Pomigliano's identity as an industrial city. Pomigliano d'Arco is an important industrial centre associated with Stellantis, Leonardo, Avio and MBDA production sites.

Discussions at the festival addressed employment, industrial policy, the future of local production and environmental issues.

Pomigliano's municipality maintains an official calendar for civic and cultural events, where residents can follow city-supported initiatives and programmes.
