Police have executed a seizure decree aimed at confiscation against a 64-year-old resident of Casavatore who had been definitively convicted of association with a mafia-type organization.
According to the report by Il Mattino, a financial investigation found a disparity between the man's declared income and his real-estate investments.
The seized property is a completed, inhabited multi-level residential building in Casandrino, with adjoining areas, formally registered to the man's daughter. Its total value was estimated at approximately one million euros.
The report does not name the individual or identify the clan, and it describes the measure as a seizure aimed at confiscation rather than a final confiscation order.
