Two minors in a yellow Fiat Panda failed to stop for Carabinieri in Gricignano di Aversa and fled through local streets before officers caught up with them on Via Gramsci.
According to Il Mattino Caserta, the driver was a 16-year-old resident of Orta di Atella, travelling with a 15-year-old passenger. The 16-year-old did not hold a driving licence, with the report noting recidivism within the two-year period.
Both minors were reported while at liberty to the Naples Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. The Fiat Panda was placed under administrative seizure pending possible confiscation.
No one was injured in the incident, and both minors were entrusted to their parents. The identities of the minors and the vehicle's owner were not reported, nor was any subsequent decision on confiscation.
